Finalize

Finalize is a new product LinkSquares launched in 2020. The UX Director, Matt McMillan, led the initial research and experience design for Finalize. Once he laid down the MVP flow, he needed help with the UX and UI of the experience at which point I took over. As the lead designer of the Finalize app, I created and owned designs for new features and flows while maintaining and building the LinkSquares Design System.

problem

Legal teams were bogged down by complicated, disjointed processes that made contract approval slow and prone to errors. Teams were constantly unsure of who was working on the contract and it’s progress.

Agreements List (MVP)
As part of the MVP, we launched a table to sort all their contracts that they are actively working on.

Iteration

After conducting user research on the MVP, I iterated on the designs to increase usability and introduce a new feature.

The designs alone sparked significant interest, leading several companies to pre-pay for product subscriptions, which validated the strong demand for this new offering. After the launch, we saw a continued increase in ARR, further proving the product’s success in the market.
