Rebrand

 

Within my first few months at LinkSquares, we raised a Series A round which was the perfect time to roll out our new rebrand considering there would be many eyes on the company. As I joined the company, my goal was to redesign the brand to reflect the modern, tech vibes of LinkSquares.

problem

  • The current LinkSquares logo feels outdated and doesn’t effectively represent the company’s identity as a forward-thinking AI SaaS provider for legal document management.

  • It lacks a strong, recognizable icon that connects with the brand and resonates with its audience.

The junior designer and I collaborated in redesigning the logo icon to reflect the modern tech tone of the company.

 
 
 

Once I got approval for the logo icon, I used the golden ratio to perfect the size and curves of the icon and created custom font based off the icon for the accompanying text.

Responsive Logo Guidelines

As the logo is resized, it is important to have guidelines that show which logo to use without sacrificing brand recognition. I created and shared guidelines on logo usage such as which colors are permitted for the logo on specific backgrounds with the entire company.
